Having missed out on the Carly Rae Jepsen bandwagon (no, I’m not gonna do it), it behooves me to translate a song – a popular song – just because it makes absolute sense to do so.

What kind of sense, I do not know. What I do know is it’s not a good one, and definitely not a common one. Yes:

Before anyone says anything to the effect of me being a “hater” or anything, lemme just say this: I like #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines.  It’s growing on me.  I like where the idea is headed, especially if (correct me if I’m wrong) people can actually contribute to the whole thing.

That said, they just came up with the official jingle to “It’s More Fun in the Philippines.”

Again, before I get accused of being a “hater” or anything, I’m not.  I actually like the jingle.  It’s upbeat, very festive, and it captures the spirit of the campaign.  Thing is, it needs an English version.
