From locked-up knees
And broken hands
Praying.

Within a breath
I long to see you
Smiling. 

Within a breath
I want our hands
Touching. 

Within a breath
To feel our lips
Kissing. 

Within your breath
I know you are
Hiding. 

Within my breath
Here I am
Calling. 

From this one prayer
A chance to hear you
Breathing.
